Outside LWH: 6.9" x 4.5" x 1.9"

For reference, one fly box fits inside my chest waders pocket perfectly. I also have a hip pack that I can fit two boxes into.

No, the tippet dispenses without having to open the box. The tippet can also be neatly tucked under the grommet it dispenses from, keeping the tippet secure so that it doesn't unravel or fall back into the box.

Yes, both box designs are large enough for large flies. In order to make a fully customizable fly box, we chose a size that was convenient, but large enough to accomodate big stuff. Also, if you get the tippet box, don't forget that the tippet hardware is removable, allowing an extra 1/2" of depth in the box.
